Brahmi powder

The Brahmi plant, also known as water hyssop or as Bacopa monnieri, originally comes from the South Asian region. There it has been of great importance in Ayurvedic teachings for centuries. The ingredients brahmin, bacasoids A and B as well as flavonoids are also the reason why researchers around the world are increasingly interested in the plant. Brahmi is also called memory plant in the Asian region.

Saffron extract

Saffron is commonly known as “red gold”. Until the 18th century, saffron was considered a medicinal plant and was administered in form of ointments, medical patches and balms. In Indian and Persian medicine, however, saffron has a long tradition as a medication used against depressive episodes. Even today the saffron plant has an excellent reputation for its potential worldwide, also among scientists. The role of the cell inside the brain.

The brain is part of the nervous system and as such connected to the entire body via a number of neural pathways.

A network of billions of neurons.

100 billion neurons are the basis for our everyday thinking processes, drive our actions and control all bodily functions. They are also home of our feelings and memories. Scientists found out only years ago that we produce new neurons inside our human brains even after birth. Approximately 1,400 new cells are produced in the hippocampus every day. It is located inside the brain and coordinates our memories and our capacity to learn.

About one third of all brain cells is replaced over the course of a human life. As we grow old, however, the number of cells that die inside our brain exceeds the number of cells we reproduce. Brain cells and their connections die and the overall cerebral mass decreases. There is also a large number of by-products which are produced during our brain’s metabolism and which may compromise the proper functioning of the brain and require regular disposal. A large number of scientists have produced various studies on cell renewal or autophagy since this scientific field was discovered.

Directions of use
